Register of controlled persons

The Register of Controlled Persons is a unified database of the Russian Ministry of Internal Affairs containing information on foreign citizens and stateless persons whose legal status in the Russian Federation is unresolved. Inclusion in the register means a special legal regime and a number of restrictions apply to the person — for example, when registering transactions, obtaining certain services, or gaining employment.

It is worth checking yourself against the register to find out about possible restrictions in time and to resolve your status: extend your period of stay, obtain documents, or get a consultation.
